The Warm Springs COVID-19 Response has recommended 50 percent tribal organization opening for this week. Tribal Council will be deliberating and decide soon. Even though the COVID-19 positives for this last week were only 8; we are very concerned about a possible spike in positive cases due to the Labor Day 3-day weekend. The past holidays had increased positive cases within less than 7 days.

Fires have impacted air quality as well as increase hazardous travel and prompt closures of recreational areas in the path of the fires. The Deschutes and Willamette National Forests have closed recreational areas within their jurisdiction and highway 20 and 22 have been closed, please use Tripcheck to find safer alternative routes.

Keep Masking up, social distancing, avoid gatherings of any size and not your household, avoid hot spots and be careful when near fire incidents.
STAY HOME, STAY SAFE
