“As of 4:45pm on 8/5/2020 – Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center has sent in or tested 2116 Total Tests, 1867 Total Negative, 34 Test Pending, 203 Total Positive Cases, 12 Total Invalid, 19 hospitalized, 15 Discharged, 3 deaths and 150 Recovered. Note – the STATE lab is taking 24–48 hours for results and our maximum daily capacity for Rapid tests is 20-22. .” Hyllis D. In the recent meetings with Warm Springs Tribal Council more daily data was requested: Today—55 tested, 10 positive – 1 new hospitalization (4 total, with 3 on ventilators), 53 active cases. A request for more education for those coming in to possibly be tested: “The team has mobilized a new Community Health station following our Orange Tent (testing) station to provide patient education about quarantine and isolation requirements following their test.” CoVID Update

The Warm Springs CoVID-19 Response team reminds you if you have the following signs and symptoms of COVID-19 which is a cough, fever, shortness of breath, diarrhea, nausea, body aches or pains, headaches, loss of sense of smell or taste, sore throat, or fatigue. If you have any of these symptoms, do not enter your building of work; “If you are arriving in the morning for work with symptoms please go to the Prescreening area between ECE and the Agency Longhouse and wait for staff to evaluate you before proceeding to the Orange tent. If you arrive after 9am please go to the Orange Tent for evaluation.”

“In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and per recommendation of the COVID team the Tribal Council has approved an additional 1-week shut down. Potential re-opening date will be August 11, 2020.” Michele Stacona, Secretary-Treasurer/CEO, CTWS.

A serious reminder that if you are positive with the Corona Virus-19, the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs tribal government expects you to be responsible and isolate yourself……if not Ordinance 101 will allow detention of those that do not comply with ordered isolation/quarantine.

The Boil Water Notice is still in effect for Warm Springs Agency area. For more information contact: The Branch of Public Utilities, Water and Wastewater division at (541)553-3246. Conservation of water is critical as repairs will take time; please continue to conserve water. The water available for the Agency community is still low. Construction is scheduled to begin within the next two weeks, be forewarned that water will have to be shut off for a day, two days at the most for repairs. The Shut Off days will be announced so we can prepare with storage of water at home.
