“As of 8:34 am, 10/20/2020 – Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center has sent in or tested 3840 Total Tests, 3483 Total Negative, 6 tests Pending, 329 Total Positive Cases (51 Positive test from other facilities, 376 Total), 22 Total Invalid, 41 Hospitalized, 41 Discharged and 9 Deaths. There are currently 7 persons with active COVID-19 receiving daily monitoring by Tribal and IHS staff and 18 close contacts receiving daily monitoring; Monday – 10/19 a total of 31 tested, 2 new positive and 2 total for week. 0 Current Hospitalization, 0 on ventilator. ” Dauphinais, Hyllis, CEO, Warm Springs and Wellness Center, CoVID-19 Update

The air quality this morning is Good AQI =12-14. The Warm Springs Tribal Council heard a report from the Warm Springs Covid-19 Response team: We are all please with the Warm Springs community’s low Covid-19 positive numbers- 4 positives for the week. Keep up the good work Warm Springs community. Vaccine distribution was discussed with pre-planning discussions on how to work with various federal and State of Oregon agencies. Making sure highest risk have first priority, then with emergency/first responders, teachers and students next. The Covid-19 vaccine is a ways off predictions range from December of 2020 to April 2021.
