“As of 8:52 am, 1/19/2021 – Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center has sent in or tested 7250 Total Tests, 6564 Total Negative, 0 Test Pending, 659 Total Positive Cases, 27 Total Invalid, 74 Hospitalized, 71 Discharged, 19 Deaths, 75 Positive test from other facilities, 734 Total. 1/15 – a total of 59 tested, 4 new positive, 42 total positives for the week, 3 Current Hospitalization, 1 on ventilator, 1 death reported. St. Charles hospitals at 69.58% occupancy and ICS at 33.33%. There are currently 40 persons with active COVID-19 receiving daily monitoring by Tribal and HIS staff and 33 close contacts receiving daily monitoring by IHS staff. ” Hyllis D. NOTE ABOUT FLU – Our FLU vaccination rate continues to be very low at 22.89%.

Tribal Council accepted Warm Springs Covid-19 Response team’s recommendation to shut down tribal government 50%. The positives for last week were 42 total second only to the 63 positives back in December 2020. Contact you provider/Doctor about your decision on whether to get a Covid-19 vaccination. The Moderna vaccination is one major tool to manage your health along with masking, social distancing, avoid gatherings, washing hands often………so please consider vaccination as it helps manage the spread of the deadly Covid-19 virus in our community.
