Congratulations to our Warm Springs community for a low positive week……cautious optimism is the word of the week. Keep masking, social distancing, avoid gatherings, washing of hands often etc…even with vaccinations in the near future-keep on protecting yourself, your family and our community.

The Center for Disease Control Newsletter: “Vaccination is the safest, most effective and most reliable way to keep yourself, your family and your community healthy and safe from COVID-19. COVID-19 vaccines are 95% effective and have undergone rigorous safety testing. Vaccination gives us hope that the pandemic will end, but in the meantime, we need to continue safety measures to keep the virus from spreading: wear a mask, physically distance from others, wash your hands, avoid gatherings and stay home when you’re sick. The vaccine won’t end the pandemic, but vaccination will. It’s important that everyone is vaccinated to achieve community immunity.”

Please talk with your Doctor/provider about getting vaccinated for Covid-19. If you decide to get the vaccine, ask what to do next? Follow instructions of health staff and understand you still need to mask up, social distance, wash hands often, avoid gatherings, and of course, take the second shot. Your vaccination will help health professionals lessen the spread of disease in our Warm Springs Community.
